Part-time Spanish Teacher

Introduction

Our online Christian School, Alpha Omega Academy, is looking for a qualified, passionate Part-time teacher to join our team. This individual would be enabled to make a difference in the lives of students from the comfort and convenience of their own home, while utilizing the latest in web-based curriculum and technology. This hourly part time position will provide instructional support to students of diverse backgrounds in grades 7-12.

A Day in the Life as a Part-time Teacher

You will deliver exceptional academic support through our student support model that provides student-centered monitoring, coaching, mentoring, and teaching. Your teaching experience in your specific subject area along with your proficiency in technology will ensure your success in this dynamic role. As a virtual teacher, you will familiarize student to their coursework by providing instruction via chat, phone, e-mail, and virtual white board systems. You will be grading student assignments and communicating with students and parents to ensure student success.

Qualifications

- Bachelor`s degree required with appropriate state teaching licensure or ASCI certification in Spanish

- Highly qualified and certified teacher to work with our elementary students

- Must work well independently and remotely

- Experience with online instruction is desired

- Excellent communication, flexibility, and organizational skills

- Must possess optimum competency in use of technology tools

- Must own a computer with high speed Internet access that meets Alpha Omega Academy`s minimum technology specifications

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, part-time position requiring about 15-25 hours a week with a semi-flexible schedule.
